Our in-house R&D capabilities enable the development and validation of new assays, the optimization of existing methods, and the implementation of client-specific assays. Highly customized solutions include innovative platforms such as the Virospot™ assay, designed for viral detection and phenotypic characterization, particularly of influenza viruses, in phase 2 and phase 3 clinical trials of novel antiviral compounds. This platform integrates classical virus culture techniques with automated, highly sensitive detection of immunostained virus-infected cells and is now applicable to a broad range of viral targets.
Assays can also be transferred to partner laboratories in regions where the export of clinical samples is restricted.
